The Manheim Township Police Department is a law enforcement agency that promotes public safety, identifies and solves criminal cases and safeguards citizens rights. Located in Lancaster, Pa., it offers services related to gun permitting, traffic and parking laws enforcement, sexual offenses, child and senior citizen abuse prevention, and crime and accident investigation. The Manheim Township Police Department employs a staff of more than 75 full-time, sworn officers, volunteers and civilians. The department maintains patrol, special operations, support services and administrative support divisions. The Manheim Township Police Department has a community life task force that is a coalition of citizens and representatives of various township organizations.
