I am very unhappy with the double charging of our account upon the sale of propertyNO excuse other than they CAN. We paid the April - June charges in full. Then paid almost the same charge for 12 days of service - why? $32.01 minimum fees paid again in June for a final bill; which we never received. Perhaps it went to the Title company who held $150.00?My guess is that the NEW owners will also pay the $32.01 minimum charges for June, and probably hook up fees as well. This means Lakewood Water will collect almost $100. in fees for the month of June for a residence. Shameful.
