Funtimes daycare has welcoming bright colors and a friendly environment. Both my children go to this daycare and always come home with a fun story about their day at school. My daughter loves to draw and often brings home her art projects. Overall a great preschool.

Hello. So I wanted to give everyone a heads up, my son was (as in not anymore) going to FUN TIME DAYCARE AND PRESCHOOL in lakewood Washington. He started coming home with saying "mommy I don't want to go to school" where as on base at there preschool he loved going to school and couldn't wait to get there. So this was a little odd. I started noticing marks on him while I was giving him a bath. I asked the school about it and they said "oh its just the kids ruff housing." I know kids at this age ruff house but not to the point where everyday there coming home with new marks. I asked for incident reports they never made any. I came to pick up my son a little while back and one of the teachers grabbed a little boy by the arm and drug him forcely to the wall for time out. I confrented her about this and told the manager about it. She looked at the tapes and did nothing about it. The teacher didn't get disapplined. They got a new teacher to help out. My son came home with a full hand mark and a handful of other bruses on his arms and legs. I took him to the doctor to have them looked at. She called CPS on the school. The school is not being investigated. Yesterday I came into pick up my son and noticed they were allowing kids to go potty with the door wide open and other kids to be in the bathroom with them while they were doing there business. I decided at that point this Friday would be his last day. I paid in advance and the school now owes me $750. There refusing to pay. I can see if someone was leaving the area, or wanted to change schools but my son is being abused here as well as other kids. Today I'm sitting here waiting for the manager and I whitenessed a teacher grabbing a child by the arm and pulling him out side, and another teacher raising her voice very rudly to another child and telling him she done and shes not dealing with him anymore. If your child is in FUN TIME DAYCARE AND PRESCHOOL in lakewood I would advise you to take a head to toe look at your child and possibly take them out of this school. No child she be coming home with bruses, no child she be dragged forcefully, and no child should be getting yelled at by a teacher. I know kids are frustrating I have a child, I yell at my kid. But that's my job as a parent to take care of that not a teacher.

The teachers are warm, wonderful and very informative. The place has a large great play area and the daycare is soo clean. I am always greeted so nicely and my child lovs his teacher the preschool program is fab, the kids really learn alot.

Fun Times Daycare is so great the kids learn more than expected and its always clean the kids do lots of art. I love it!
