OUR STORY We are the most innovative and progressive hair salon in Sarasota today, and have been in business serving a fashion conscious clientele since 1994. Our second location is conveniently located at the gate way to Lakewood Ranch and was opened in 2005. Our philosophy is very clear.We believe the greatest key to long term business is quality service. Every company's greatest asset is it's internal and external customer's.Our goal is to continue to expand and develop our very successful company by bringing opportunities to all of our team. RICHARD WEINTRAUB is a master stylist who has 35 years of experience in the industry and has been a member or "Intercoiffure Mondial" since 1979. Richard has worked as a platform artist in the U.S., Germany. Italy, France, Brazil and Japan. His photo work has been published in various magazines including Glamour, Self and Vogue. In 2006 Richard was honored with the "Ordre De La Chevvalerie" which is one of the highest honors given for outstanding contribution to the beauty industry. Our proudest accomplishment though is being selected as the" exclusive salon of ABC news channel 7" winning the "Best of the Best Salons" and being nominated for the "Small DESMOND AND CAROLINE BEHAN have been in the hair salon business for 30 years having done their apprenticeship in England. They traveled out to Johannesburg, South Africa, where they were involved with the expansion and education of a hairdressing group. They moved to Los Angeles, California in 1990, and have attended numerous educational and motivational events with Vidal Sassoon, Redken, Schwarzkopf, Wella, Zig Ziglar, Dale Carnigie and Tom Peters. They have worked with Trevor Sorbie and Irvine Rusk doing hair shows and photo shoots. They moved to Sarasota to join Yellow Strawberry in 2003 and are excited about the growth and expansion of the company in Southwest Florida.
