Located in Jenkintown, Pa., Camp Ramah in the Poconos is a Jewish community organization. It offers camping program services accredited by the American Camping Association. Its day camp program for children provides a wide range of activities and programs, such as Hebrew, T fillot prayers, Shabbat experience, Jewish living and learning programs. Its creative arts programs include arts and crafts, music, drama and Israeli dances. It offers overnight camps for young adults at the mountains of Wayne County in Pennsylvania. Its camping services include cabins with bunk beds, shelf, closets and indoor bathroom facilities. It also offers 10-day overnight Kosher camps for hearing impaired Jewish children. It offers a wide range of camping activities, such as swimming, boating, textual study, sports, arts and crafts, hiking, singing and dancing. Camp Ramah in the Poconos provides a trained staff of Jewish deaf educators and interpreters in its camps.
