Founded in 1956, Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates is an employee-owned firm that provides a range of services and solutions for the construction and building industry. It maintains more than 15 offices throughout the United States. The firm offers structural evaluation, facade assessment, historic preservation, litigation consultation, roofing and waterproofing, and bridge, earthquake and blast engineering services. Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates also provides peer review and commissioning, repair and rehabilitation, and failure and disaster response services. It has laboratory and testing capabilities. The firm operates the Janney Technical Center, which is an over 25,000-square-foot construction-based testing laboratory. Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates has completed various projects that include Castlewood Canyon Bridge, Fort Mason Tunnel, Hellman-Quon Building and Thomas Edison High School.
