Founded in 1996, Distributed Generation Systems, also known as DISGEN, provides energy services to the energy market in the United States. The company focuses on renewable wind resource development projects. It offers assessment and development services for natural wind resources in the Northern Plains region in Colorado. Distributed Generation Systems manages a unit, Native American Programs and Resources Division, which assists the tribal community. The company has undertaken Kaw Nation and Fort Mojave wind projects. It works in partnership with corporate and government agencies. Distributed Generation Systems, in an agreement with the Public Service Company of Colorado, has developed Ponnequin Wind Facility in Colorado.
