- Emergency CareKayla DaSilva earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (MCPHS) and her Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College. During her time studying at Regis, she received the Young School of Nursing Award for Overall Excellence. Kayla grew up and resides on the South Shore of Massachusetts, she is fluent in Portuguese and during her free time, enjoys traveling, making arts and crafts, and spending time with her family and 2 doggies. Kayla began her nursing career at Boston Children’s Hospital and her training to become a Family Nurse Practitioner included specific specialities such as pediatric primary care, adolescent medicine, women’s health and urgent care.
- ImmunizationsWe would like to see your new baby in the office within 2-3 days after leaving the hospital. No routine immunizations or labwork are needed at this visit however the provider might order a bilirubin test if there are any signs of jaundice. We will address any of your concerns regarding the baby’s health as well as routine newborn care. Please call the office as soon as you leave the hospital to schedule this appointment.

- NeurologyAmy Hatch grew up and lives in Plymouth, Massachusetts. She received her BA in Biology from Boston University and her BS and Masters in Nursing from Regis College. She began her nursing career at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth before moving on to Children’s Hospital, Boston where she worked on the inpatient neurology unit. Amy’s advanced pediatric nurse practitioner training was completed here at Middleboro Pediatrics and also at Massachusetts General Hospital’s pediatric group practice. She joined Middleboro Pediatrics in 2004. She has an interest in lactation support, adolescent health and holistic medicine. She enjoys yoga, playing guitar and the beach with her children.

After working in primary care pediatrics in Western Massachusetts for 5 years, she joined the team at Middleboro Pediatrics in November of 2018. She lives with her husband and daughter, who is a student at Boston University. In her free time, she likes gardening, hiking and travel. Dr. Garniene has a special interest in preventive medicine, childhood asthma, as well as ADHD, depression, and anxiety management.
