The Louis Smith Memorial Hospital, located in Lakeland, Ga., is a 25-bed critical access hospital. The center is accredited by the Joint Commission in the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and is also affiliated with the South Georgia Health System. It provides a wide range of services emergency ambulance, laboratory and radiology services. The hospital also provides stress tests, physical therapies, electrocardiogram and respiratory services, long-term care nursing services and sleep studies. Its radiology services provide a variety of imaging services that include spiral CT scan, ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging.
