Sanjana Iyengar, MD, is a board-certified Dermatologist who provides comprehensive care for patients in all aspects of dermatology including clinical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She specializes in skin cancer detection, surgical excisions, and cosmetic procedures including fillers, neuromodulators, and lasers. What would you like people to know about you as a physician?As a physician, I believe in a patient-centered approach. I focus on listening to a patient’s health concerns and working together to formulate a treatment plan. How does your work improve lives? The skin is the largest organ of the body with issues ranging from skin cancer to rashes to aging skin. As a dermatologist, I focus on early detection and treatment of skin cancer, clearance of skin disease, and enhancing a patient’s appearance through cosmetics. My cosmetic goal is to deliver natural results that will improve a patient’s self-esteem and confidence. What is your patient care philosophy? My patient care philosophy is to treat every patient with respect and offer safe and effective treatments I would personally do myself. What do you enjoy most about working with patients?I enjoy building long-term relationships with my patients based on trust and respect. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?I enjoy spending time with family and friends, running, spinning, hiking, and traveling.
