The Lake Zurich Police Department is a full-service law enforcement agency that is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). It maintains investigations, records and crime prevention divisions. The department also operates a communication center that responds to emergency and nonemergency calls, as well as provides communication services to various federal agencies. The Lake Zurich Police Department also provides neighborhood watch, community-oriented policing and animal control services. It serves various writs, processes, orders, subpoenas and other civil papers for local courts and other county and state departments. The Lake Zurich Police Department is located in Lake Zurich, Ill.
