Lake Zurich High School serves the educational needs of students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes applied arts, English, fine arts, mathematics, physical education, science and social studies. It offers foreign language courses in Spanish, German and French. The school s writing center provides writing and reading assistance in all subject areas. Its library offers catalogs, periodicals, newspapers and magazines. The library has also the facility of copy machine, an audiovisual room and a computer lab. Its fall sports include soccer, football, tennis, volleyball, football, cross country and fall cheerleading. Its winter sports include basketball, swimming, wrestling and indoor track. It has various clubs, such as bowling, drama, German, French and hockey. The school also has a parent-teacher organization, and counseling and career departments. Lake Zurich High School is operated by the Community Unit School District, and is located in Lake Zurich, Ill.
