Established in 1957, Alexander Hamilton Elementary School is a part of Lake Station Community Schools. The school maintains more than 100 classrooms, play space, and library, art and music rooms. It also maintains a cafeteria and gymnasium. Lake Station Community Schools offers education in grades 1 through 12. The school district consists of Edison Junior-Senior High School, Virgil I. Bailey Elementary School, Central School and Carl J. Polk Elementary School. Alexander Hamilton Elementary is located in Lake Station, Ind.
