Lake Ozark Clinic, located in Lake Ozark, Mo., provides medical care and treatment services in the areas of internal medicine, pediatrics and geriatrics. It has a staff of board-certified physicians and nurse practitioners. The clinic is managed by the Lake Regional Health System, which is a 100-plus-bed regional referral center. Established in 1978, the Lake Regional Health System provides an array of health care services in the areas of orthopedics, obstetrics, surgery, diabetes management, and outpatient, cardiac, cancer, emergency and intensive care. It also operates primary care centers, retail pharmacies, home health service units, and specialty and rehabilitation therapy clinics throughout the region. The system additionally conducts a variety of educational sessions on heart disease treatment and prevention and childhood obesity, as well as organizes several health fairs and screening camps annually.
