I love Oliver's! The food is great. I especially love the beet salad. The patio is really nice during the summer. The owner is really sweet and I personally like how she wants her customers suggestions. More restaurants should take her lead. I can't imagine why anyone would give this place a 1 star rating. It sounds like a hateful, bitter person or maybe a competitor or both. Obviously that person is in the minority since everyone else rated it 4 or 5 stars. Try Oliver's out and you won't be disappointed.
Used to visit La Provence all the time for breakfast/brunch but since Olivers opened, we found our new little spot. Nice but super casual - perfectly delightful pancakes made with lemon zest, blueberries & cottage cheese makes them light & fluffy. My personal favorite is the Huevos Rancheros - just the perfect amount of kick and quite filling. Stumptown coffee and hot chocolate with a big marshmellow for the kiddos - perfect breakfast - will definitely keep going back. Can't wait to try dinners on the patio.

Great dinner a few nights ago. Can't wait to go in for breakfast. Service was great and friendly. Food was great and more than enough.
This nice little place was such a treat. Well worth the wait. The food was amazing and the servers where so sweet. This is the perfect place to wine and dine your lover or to even take your kids to. I loved going to eat their and well go back offten!

My Sig-O and I dined at Oliver's last night and we are thrilled to have found a new and shining light in the food universe. She loved the fun wine selection, the honesty of the owner in recommending a wine. The great flavors, realistic prices, attentive service with a chance to chat with the owner. We will be sending our and taking our friends to the restaurant and hoping that they take their friends too. Peter S from Tigard

01/23/2011 I've been eating in restaurants with my father since I was five years old he himself owned a very successful eating establishment and a week or so after Oliver's opened I went in for dinner had a fabulous meal, a center cut porch chop cooked to perfection. I complimented the head cook and told him it was the best meal I ever had. I have been in 3x since then and everytime I've ordered the same dish and everytime I was left with a bad taste in my mouth. Not only was the meal inconsistent in taste but the cut was different in size and it did not feel like I was eating out at a fine eatery it felt like going to my sister's home in WA on a Saturday night, and my date felt the same way. The salad dressing on one of our visits tasted like barbecue sauce? The anchovies in the ceaser dressing could have choked a horse. I am not sure what happened or why but we are not customers of Olivers any longer. My suggestion to the owner is try harder.

There is someone out there who keeps writing bad reviews for this place and I don't know what his deal is... Maybe the owner of a nearby restaurant?? I have been here three times since they opened and every visit has been amazing. Spectacularly good food, great service, friendly atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and check it out.

Needless to say, we have been waiting all year for this place to open and it finally does and it is NOT at all what we expected. If you are going to be successful you really need to change your menu or at least get a chef in there that knows what they are doing, it's obvious you have no idea what you are doing, sorry to say that but I think you are out of your league. Asking your customer's what to put on a menu is pretty sad; you should already have an idea of what you are serving. I suggest you get someone that knows their way around a kitchen and get them in there; you have a great location and a great opportunity to do some great business there. You just need the skills. We will not be going back, unless you change the menu. Food was tasteless, atmosphere was meh and service was meh. Price was OK for what you got?!?!

I have been watching and waiting for this new restaurant to open. It was worth the wait. The food was excellent and service impeccable. The menu is not extensive at this time, but they are expanding it and soliciting suggestions from customers. In the spring, they will plant their 6000 sq ft garden at the back of the property to grow their own produce. I highly recommend this restaurant. The decor is smart, but not overdone - very pleasant experience.
