I used Clever Work Service to have a deck built this past summer. I got quotes from 3 other deck builders and Clever Work Service had the lowest quote so I went with them. I was out of town when the deck was built so I couldn't supervise the construction. The end product was constructed ok, but I have never seen such low quality wood. Literally every piece was warped or had significant gouges. I got pressure-treated pine, so I expected some minor warping and I know every batch of wood comes with some flaws (minor gouges and knots), but it almost looks like Clever Work Service took everybody else's wood project rejects. Bottom line: they will give you what seems like a great quote, but then will use substandard materials.
