Incorporated in 1979, Florida Retina Institute is a vitreoretinal specific ophthalmologic practice. Based in Lake Mary, Fla., the medical center offers a plethora of services, such as retina eye exams, retina laser and vitreous surgery. It also provides treatment of various retina conditions, such as retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and posterior vitreous separation. The health center utilizes the laser surgery technique to reduce vision loss from glaucoma, secondary cataracts, diabetes, blocked blood vessels and retinal tears.
