General Info

My name is Alison Garcia and I am a licensed mental health counselor based in Central Florida. I have provided therapy in multiple settings including inpatient, intensive outpatient, schools and home. I make myself available at 3 different conveniently located offices. Each office is handicapped accessible. I typically utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Interpersonal and Solution Focused approaches to therapy. I have received specialized training in Trauma related conditions. I work with ages 5-105 with an emphasis on Children, Adolescents, Families and Parent training. I’m available select evenings and try to remain flexible. During an initial visit we will meet in an informal manner while obtaining relevant history. My goal is to make the client feel comfortable and safe. We will discuss goals of treatment, review consents & limitations and set appropriate subsequent appointments.
