I have been a patient of Dr. Aliyar's for over 6 years, and he has helped me through several acute incidents as well as with my chronic issues. I have the utmost respect for his skills.

I've been going to Midwest for at least 2 years now. My Rhuemitologist was Dr. Nasef who I miss terribly. I feel he pretty much saved my life by validating my pain, and his understanding of my fibromyalgia condition. I hope he will someday write a book about it, since I believe in his knowledge and expertise. I wish there were more doctors in this area that would take the time to learn more about it, and treat their patients with the respect and compassion that he had. I think one of his greatest professional assets was his "gift for listening and still open minded to learning from his patients". I believe Midwest and it's staff have been as good as it gets in Lake Havasu City.

I give the business a 4 star but some of the doctors,two that I have seen, I give a two star for the lack of attention thay will give you. two looks at me in the 5 minutes I was there is not very personal at all. And that was a new patient visit. Happened twice with two different male doctors. Maybe thats the way most male doctors act towards male patients. cold personalities! I than moved to a female doctor and she was and still is fantastic. My last visit was around 40 minutes, a lot better trhan 5. Meeting new clients is not a strong point, just give it some time and they will eventually give you some back. Othewise the midwest is a good place.

I honestly believe that Dr Nasef saved my life. I know for certain that he saved me an unnecessary back surgery, that I already had scheduled with an orthopedic surgeon. He certainly saved my sanity and gave me back some quality of life, that I had not known for several years (5+ yrs) that I spent seeing several regular Doctors, Orthopedics, Neurologists, Pain Management Specialists, Physical Theripists, MRI'S, Bone Scans, X-Rays of all kinds, etc.... When I finally was referred to Dr Nasef, I was a month away from having a spinal fusion. Now with the proper medications, I do have a pretty good quality of life, instead of living in pain 24/7 and having no quality of life. Dr Sherif Nasef is the best thing that has happened to me in the past 6 years. He is a very very good Doctor who cares about his patients and their lives. His staff is more than competent and genuinely nice.

The Doctor is very good, his nurse is also good. They are normally quite busy and you may have to wait 15-30 minutes on your appointment, but more often than not it is more like 10 minutes. Dr Ong-Veloso is a doctor who will take the time with you to find out what is wrong so it can be treated correctly. This is not an office where I have ever felt like they wanted to run me through as fast as they could and then get on to the next person.
