Well, I stayed there for five nights. The place is fairly inexpensive and you get the place where to stay over the night and in daytime you can hang out in pier, if you have to plan your trip, browse the web or just to have some snack. They have a free Wi-Fi, which is fast so you can watch netflix if it is cold and rains like it did most of the stay. You get to have free coffee and tea with granola and yogurt on the front porch in the morning. The location is great, right in a heart of Lake Geneva and the lake shore path

This was our first stay in the Cottages on the lake. Previously, we were in the room with a lake view and King suite, which was two room suite with a king bed and dressing room. The cottage is like the Suite an very private with two rooms, since we brought our Nuffie along this time we stayed here. It has a refrigerator and mico with a real deer head above the fireplace. Even with the hot weather we chilled out for two days we stayed. The innkeeper Peter really seem to put great effort in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our stay. They showed us were the lake path begins in front of the property so we could walk the dogs in the morning, and told us about the Miracle fence and property and the story of the Stone House. It is well worth the trip. We took our cure of the dog and went along for a long walk on the path then jumped in the lake when we got back to the inn. The cottage is a short distance, three blocks, to the main shopping and dinning areas of downtown Lake Geneva w

The innkeeper was very nice and knowledgeable. The bed was comfy and room clean. We really liked that we could bring our dog. The bathroom was nicely updated and the kitchenette was a nice added bonus. We would definitely stay here again - especially because it's so close to downtown and has a view of the lake.

Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. This is a great place to escape Chicago.

My fiance and I made a trip to Lake Geneva and stayed at Eleven Gables. It was wonderful! The location is perfect- it took us five minutes to walk downtown, the lake is directly across the street from the Inn, and it's off toward the end of a quiet street corner. We walked back and forth in between downtown and the Inn several times of the day. There's also a private pier that you have access to as a guest. The owner, Gary, is a very sweet man with an adorable red hound dog. Both are super friendly. My fiance and I had a great little talk with Gary in the morning about dogs and rescue shelters. Gary seemed like a really nice guy- he gave us several recommendations for restaurants and told us about a beautiful path around the lake. The room itself (The Rose Room) was cute, quaint, and totally reminded me of something out of 1940. I loved it! The Inn was great too- nothing modern or new about it. Because the Inn is so old (I think it was built in 1847?), the halls are creaky, the walls

Very nice! I recently stayed here for a wedding and was not disappointed. From the reservation process through checkout the staff did not disappoint. Everyone was extremely nice, courteous and professional. The Hotel was very peaceful and quiet, a quaint laid back vibe. We parked our car in the parking lot and walked our entire stay. The room was very nice, well put together and extremely clean. Most everything about the room was normal hotel including the average size bathroom. The toilet was an oversized high rise one, which was a nice touch, all modern toilets should be this size. We replaced the old ones in our house years ago and well worth the upgrade. Glad to see some hotels are starting to catch on. The highlight of this hotel is the location. They are exceptionally centrally located on the lake from the wedding venue. I'm not a water skier, but the lake looked great. We did enjoy walking on the lake path though, and had some fun ringing the expect a Magical Bell! The backdrop

This was our second stay in the Cottage at the Eleven Gables. Previously, we were in the room with a lake view and King Suite, which was a two-room suite with a king bed. The cottage was very private and had two rooms, since we brought our nuffie and golden along this time. With refrigerator and microwave, there was nothing more we needed to snuggle buy the fire for the two rainy days we stayed. The innkeepers, Frank and Claire, are a delightful couple who really seem to put great effort in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of their guest. They showed us were the lake path begins in front of the property so we could walk the dogs in the morning, and told us about the Miracle wall down the path. It is well worth the trip, even if the weather is cold. We took our cure for the dogs and went along with the rain.

Stayed at Ice buliding for a weekend of romantic R&R. We loved our cottage, which was immaculate, and particularly appreciated the privacy it afforded us. No worries about noisy neighbors or some of the things that can make a stay at even a nice hotel really unpleasant. The location was great with walking distance from downtown for shopping so we didn't have to deal with the car and parking for the entire weekend. The private pier was great for a sunset picnic and bottle of wine. Was much better than expected. Will be back next year again for our anniversary.

I stayed at this inn a little while ago. I was amazed at how nice the place really is. It's quaint and quiet. There was a fireplace in my room. The location is perfect - within short walking distance to all of the main attractions in town. And, the hotel has free parking. What a great place to get away from it all.

The inn was very quiet with the restraunts not on the same floor. The view of the lake was great even though most of our stay in the rooms were at night. The place was very clean and neat and the manager, Joe, was very helpful with segestions of were to go after the race. Nint. try the craft beer place in town for a nice buzzzzzzzzz.

They serve a small breakfast to get your day started on a good note. And the beds are so comfortable you don't want to get up. My dog enjoyed a romp on the lake shore path and was made quite welcome here. Try it once. You will look for excuses to travel to Lake Geneva just so you can stay here. If you are looking for a private, quiet place to reconnect for a night or two you will enjoy your stay here. The house is classic lake house. Thanks! See ya soon!

My daughter and I stayed here a few weeks ago. I cannot recommend it enough. I have told all my friends. From the moment we arrived Sadie made us feel so welcome. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The food was so so. And best of all was her lovely dog "EB"! My daughter fell in love with EB. They are within minutes of great restaurants, shopping and right on the lake.

If you find yourself in Lake Geneva, take the opportunity to experience something outside of the normal chain hotels. You'll be glad you did. This B&B is well appointed and comfortable. Our room was spacious, clean, and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly, available when needed, and stayed out of the way when not. The location is adjacent to the lake shore path, which provided a quieter, restful experience than a downtown hotel. The inn is conveniently located to many downtown businesses and just a few minutes from the Riviera and public boat launch. I'd definitely stay there again if I find myself in this town. One of the best features of Eleven Gables Inn is the owners toy poodle EB, he flops down beside you and wants a belly rub. We could not bring our dog on this trip, but will when we return. The breakfast was only blueberry pancakes with whip cream and coffee, simple and at a minimum. If you want a five course gourmet b

Adorable. The street, the house, the rooms, the whole thing. Crap-your-pants cute, seriously. Despite being just three blocks away from all the booze, wee-hour hookups and skinny jeans Main Street Carvette's, the Gabe is quite quiet and completely charming. If you're like me and you traipse in at 4:00 am soaked in gin and eating a taco, I recommend the Wicker Suite -- it's a few bucks more, but it's on the ground floor and has a separate entrance, so you won't bother any of the more buttoned-up B&B guests. And at $150 a night for a huge room that slept three, it's totally reasonable -- in fact, it's on par with a downtown hotel, but with the added bonus of nightlife. And did I mention the cute factor? So. Freaking. Cute.
