General Info

After careful diagnosis I put specific focus on problem solving, primarily with therapy, directed at ameliorating debilitating symptoms on a timely basis. Longer term therapy is directed at repairing personality vulnerabilities to prevent recurrence of disability. When psychotropic drugs can help I prescribe and carefully monitor them. My patients choose: short or longer term therapy. I am board certified with nearly four decades in treating adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. My areas of special expertise include: * Treatment of Depressive Syndromes * Bipolar Disorder (without Lithium) * ADHD (without stimulants) * Post Traumatic Stress Disorder * Family Crises I provide excellent referral for drug and alcohol abuse.
