- Criminal DefenseDan has been licensed to practice law in Minnesota since 2006. After graduating from law school, he worked as a judicial law clerk in St. Peter, Minnesota, where he learned a wide variety of practice areas because a small town practice is not conductive to specializing in specific areas of the law. After his clerkship, Dan cut his teeth in the insurance defense world at a nearby mid-sized law firm, where he handled Coverage, Subrogation, First-Party, and general civil defense claims, and continues to handle insurance defense matters at Provo-Petersen & Associates, P.A. Dan prefers working at a small firm where he has the opportunity to handle criminal defense, family law, workers’ compensation, and other general practice matters while still focusing on civil defense matters.
