After graduating from law school, he worked as a judicial law clerk in St. Peter, Minnesota, where he learned a wide variety of practice areas because a small town practice is not conductive to specializing in specific areas of the law. After his clerkship, Dan cut his teeth in the insurance defense world at a nearby mid-sized law firm, where he handled Coverage, Subrogation, First-Party, and general civil defense claims, and continues to handle insurance defense matters at Provo-Petersen & Associates, P.A. Dan prefers working at a small firm where he has the opportunity to handle criminal defense, family law, workers’ compensation, and other general practice matters while still focusing on civil defense matters.

  Jeannie Provo-Petersen has been licensed to practice law since 1998 in Minnesota State and Federal District Courts. She practices primarily in the areas of transportation, automobile insurance, government liability, and commercial insurance law including liability, coverage, uninsured and underinsured motorist, no-fault, liquor liability, wrongful death, and general casualty law. Jeannie has developed an expertise in successfully defending clients in the transportation, automobile and commercial arena.
