Sometimes your family member may require more assistance and support than you are able to provide for them. North Florida Guardian understands that no one can replace that special family bond - but we work tirelessly to coordinate professional services that your loved one might need. This includes selecting a caretaker, arranging for in-home care, and a variety of other services. All of your loved one's funds will be accounted for and kept strictly separate from the guardian's personal funds. You can request a full accounting of assets or property at any time. If you need assistance in managing your financial affairs, a federal fiduciary may be able to help. North Florida Guardian is authorized by the Department of Veterans Affairs to act as a payee for VA benefits, and has over 10 years of experience in helping veterans in need. If you have a family member who may need to stay in a nursing home long-term, you may need to begin the process of applying for Nursing Home Medicaid.
