Cameron Communications opened the lines of communication in 1928 by stringing telephone lines into the marshes of Cameron Parish, where other phone companies would not venture a foresight of our founder, William T. Henning The launch of Cameron Telephone Company was intended to serve the booming oil industry in Cameron Parish.
