Established in 1968, Reedy Creek Emergency Services, also known as RCES, offers a range of emergency fire response services, including advanced life support, rapid patient contact, treatment and medical facility transportation. It is staffed with fire, deputy and battalion chiefs, shift commanders, supervisors, lieutenants, operators, firefighters, inspectors and communicators. The facility also installs automatic sprinkler protection and fire and smoke detection systems. It administers and enforces the state of Florida s uniform fire safety rules, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standards and EPCOT Fire Prevention Code. Reedy Creek Emergency Services operates the Medical Assistance Response Cart (MARC) program and offers emergency medical services.
