The technicians were great but the spa was filthy and the the front desk was cluttered with paperwork and food.

I'd really give them a 3.5 stars. The physical space is nice. The ladies who work there are very nice and have a friendly demeanor. This is not the "stuffy, be classy, ritzy, you are not good enough" place. I was displeased that she didn't have all the necessary tools to do the procedure I scheduled for, but she made it work. I arrived on time for my appointment, but I still had to wait about 20 minutes after that so she could finish with the client before me.

I have been going to Puritie since May for lash extensions. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and professional. Brandy is absolutely excellent! My lashes always look beautiful and flawless. Brandy is personable and is always helpful and flexible. She came in extra early for me so I could have my lashes filled in time for a wedding! I'd highly suggest Puritie and Brandy if you are considering lash extensions!

Such a lovely spa! The staff is attentive and friendly...a great place to go to pamper yourself :-) Love my massages with Gerard...he has an amazing touch and awesome energy transfer....I always leave walking on air! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment...you won't be sorry!

I have been a client of Michelle Matthews for over 15 years. I have had nothing but the best facials ever from Michelle, and have had other exquisite services from her staff. From the moment you walk into her spa, you feel completely attended to and cared for by all. Equally as important, my skin is amazing, and I am told daily that it is so great...without even asking!!! She rocks!

I recently went to Michelle Matthews Day Spa and I have to say I completely disagree with the other review on this page. Michelle was gracious and kind to me and my sister. We went in and were not sure what type of massage and facial we wanted. Michelle and the staff helped up to decide, made us fresh coffee and gave us amazing services. Michelle is one of the nicest spa owners I have ever met. (she may be one of the only ones I have ever met since usually the owner is not present in the spa.) I was completetely shocked that she would get a negative review -- that person must have been to a different spa!

If the owner doesn't like you, she'll cancel you. They cancelled my appointment twice without telling me. When I called to confirm my appointment, they said I wasn't listed in the books (even though I had an appointment card). Guess I'll take my business to some other local spa.
