This small but comfortable little Bar has been around a long time. Being one of the few "air conditioned" bars in Lahaina makes it a favorite among locals and returning visitors alike. Its located 5 or 6 blocks out of the shopping area of lahaina so unless you know where it is you'll never find it. Just ask a local or hop in a "Classy Taxi" and they'll be happy to take you there. A great place to make new friends and have a good time without paying the "touristy" prices you'll pay in the beach bars. You might even meet a celebrity or two in the Mongoose because of its out of the way location. Plus, wearing a Sly Mongoose T-shirt gets you in good with the locals in other bars because they know if you've found the Mongoose, you cant be "fresh off the boat".So check it out the next time your in lahaina, Maui. You wont regret it.
