I am a fussy, "wanna be trendy," always have my own ideas, New York transplant. I have tried all the up-country, upscaled, recommended top salons - eh - close, but nothing special. UNTIL NOW! Roxana's Hair Affair is an amazing treasure. Why? They all can color and cut hair (although I am partial to Michella).! And they listen! It's the sign of a true hair designer when they cut it wet and then continue to shape once dry. And, although soccer mom's are welcome (because they can do anything), let them introduce you to a fun, stylish, cut and color. They belong in NYC but have Maui prices.

I justed completed a wedding at Ironwood Beach. Roxana's Hair Affair was recommended by the staff at Noelani Condo Resorts, where the wedding party and I stayed. Roxana and her daughter Michaela did a wonderul job on the bride and maid of honor. They integrated flowers we brought in and it was like artwork. I always go to this salon while on vacation at Honokeana Cove in Napili, Maui. Roxana is THE BEST and can top ANY hairdresser on the mainland. If she had a salon in Beverly Hills, she'd be famous! I live in Las Vegas and travel to Beverly Hills to have my hair highlighted and cut but genuinely look forward to going to Maui and having Roxana herself doing my hair. My husband, who NEVER goes to a hair salon, will even go to Roxana's for a cut by one of her staff. They all do excellent work and I can't recommend this salon highly enough. I've been going here for the past six years consistently.
