Established in 1975, South County Senior Services is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of home- and community-based services for senior citizens. It provides adult day health and Alzheimer s social day care services. The organization also offers in-home support, respite registry, transportation, and health and wellness programs. It maintains a team of nutritional and administrative staff, as well as provides food and case management services. The organization operates several senior centers that offer tax assistance, insurance counseling, and legal aid and fall prevention information services. In addition, it conducts financial seminars, adult education classes and preventative health screenings sessions.
