As the medical director of one the nation’s most respected dermatological practices, Dr. Lorrie J. Klein has earned a reputation that sets her apart as a board-certified dermatologist. In Laguna Niguel, OC Dermatology is testaments to Dr. Klein’s hard work and expertise. Few peers can match her professional accomplishments. Education & Training Dr. Klein’s path to becoming a dermatologist in Orange County started in New Jersey, where she grew up and attended Rutgers University, graduating summa cum laude. She received her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Klein completed her internship at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and her residency training in dermatology at the University of California, Irvine (UCI), where she won the Outstanding Resident Teacher of the Year award. Teaching the Next Generation A diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Klein remains dedicated to educating the next generation of dermatologists, including medical students and peers. She has served as assistant clinical professor in dermatology at the UCI Medical School. Additionally, Dr. Klein supervised dermatology residents in their dermatology-plastic surgery clinics at the Long Beach Veterans Administration Medical Center. logo-black-diamond Dr. Klein served as a member of the National Education Faculty for Allergan, and was a member of the Medical Education Faculty for Merz. She served as an adviser for Suneva, is currently a trainer for Allergan, and educates the public and other physicians on behalf of various companies on skin treatments and skin care products. She is a Kybella, Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, and Volbella trainer. She takes pride in educating and training her own handpicked staff.
