For over twenty years, he has served on the Louisiana Supreme Court Committee on Bar Admissions as an assistant examiner of bar examinations for both Civil Code II relative to wills, successions and trusts, and Civil Code III relative to commercial transactions.

  Harold L. Domingue, Jr. received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 1981 and obtained his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University in 1985. Following a clerkship with the Chief Judge of the Louisiana Third Circuit Court of Appeal, Harold established a law office and has practiced for 34 years with an emphasis on bankruptcy liquidations and reorganizations, business formation, collections, real estate transactions, estate planning, interdictions, successions, and trusts.

  Roger began his legal career in the firm’s Admiralty and Maritime Section defending offshore personal injury and property damage claims representing a wide range of clients – oil companies, service contractors, and vessel owners. Over the years his practice has evolved to include general oil and gas litigation, specifically defense of environmental and well drilling/production claims. In addition to litigation, he also maintains an active contractual advice practice drafting and negotiating Master Service Agreements and Drilling Contracts for clients.

  Derek began his career as an Administrative Law Judge at the Louisiana Workforce Commission, where he reviewed administrative hearings and drafted recommendations and decisions for Unemployment Insurance appeals. He then worked for Acadiana Legal Services Corporation, providing representation to children in abuse, neglect, and abandonment cases. Derek also provided civil legal aid services in the areas of housing, consumer rights, bankruptcy and other various other civil matters. Before joining Onebane, Derek gained experience at a local title company and personal injury firm, providing real estate closing services with title examination as well as providing representation to clients in automobile personal injury matters.
