I absolutely LOVE Hessions. When my washer broke down, I sure didn't have the $500 minimum it was going to cost me to get another one, and I am washing for FIVE people. Because of previous job loss, our credit is bad, so we try not to take on interest-bearing debt. And time was of the essence.

Hessions lets you rent a used machine while you layaway and pay off a new one. For just $60 or so I had a new (well, new to me) washer within days. Not long after that, the dryer died, too, and I had the option of paying more weekly or paying longer, or any combination. As long as the rental is paid, the amount I'm chucking into the layaway machines is up to me. And when I get the new machines, they will not only be mine, free and clear and without interest, they will be under a warranty that starts when I get them, not when I signed up. Most rent-to-own places actually use up your manufacturer's warranty before you even own the things.

I also like doing business with a genuine mom-and-pop operation, a small business that knows the clientele. I cannot recommend Hessions highly enough.

I needed a washer and dryer and was told that they have great prices on these items to rent. I set up a rent to buy plan and here's where all the fees began. on top of the $3.99- $4.99 rental price you also have to pay so much towards your new washer & dryer (that's understandable) then there's an $55.00 delivery and installation FEE. never pay late because there's an $1.00 A DAY FEE. once you come to your senses and realize your paying to much and want them to come pick there items up there's a $45.00 pick up FEE. or if you decide to continue paying and buy the new washer & dryer then there's YET AGAIN another delivery and installation FEE of $79.00- $99.00. Please BEWARE these people are going to hang you out to dry (no pun intended)
