Duncan Hall is a beautiful historic building and Lafayette is lucky to have such a fine facility in downtown. The ballroom is especially impressive.

The facility and the staff of Duncan Hall are outstanding. They have went over and beyond to accommodate our needs. The hospitality and the kindness of the staff is over the top. I would recommend this community center to everyone looking for a beautiful atmosphere to celebrate life's many occasions. When we met with them to explain that we were a brand new church looking for a place to meet once a week so we could grow, they were very willing to work with us as we could utilize smaller rooms, and then grow into the ballroom. We have for almost a complete year met there every Sunday and have found the facility to be set up and ready for us, our own personal host- Tom (whom we have grown to love) & it to be spotless! We have recently been able to find a permanent location for our church, but we will for sure miss the friendly faces & the wonderful hospitality. A beautiful and well-managed facility, well suited to everything from small concerts to ballroom dancing and wedding receptions. One of Lafayette's real gems, and deserving of a close look for events of that type.

Part of why I began the Tippecanoe Chamber Music Society in 1997 was because of the acoustics, elegance, and beauty of Duncan Hall. Aura Lee and her staff go the extra mile to make sure the experience is outstanding. It's no wonder that dozens of people use Duncan Hall each year for weddings and other activities. We held our wedding reception at Duncan Hall last December. Everything went perfectly. Aura Lee and her staff were extremely accomodating. They made sure to follow every detail. The reception was flawless. Not only were we impressed, but so were our family and friends. The character and uniqueness of the entire hall is something we will always remember.

We are having our wedding at Duncan Hall in the summer of 2010. We looked & looked for just the right venue in the Lafayette area, and were so impressed when our caterer recommended Duncan Hall. We had seen Duncan Hall's website & weren't sure it was quite what we were looking for--but the pictures online simply don't do it justice. You have to see it in person to appreciate what a great facility this is. It is beautiful, well-kept, & unique. We are having our ceremony in the ballroom, then allowing our guests to enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres in a side parlor while the ballroom is converted for the reception. Another side parlor will host our buffet dinner. There are many beautiful rooms for guests to explore, as well as some pretty outdoor gardens. Duncan Hall has a ton of flexible space, with staff that is easy to work with & happy to accommodate your needs. And the price is very reasonable! For an elegant & unique wedding/reception, you should definitely take a look!

We have used Duncan Hall dozens of times over the past 15 years. It's a great facility--elegant, clean, well maintained. The staff are friendly, prompt, and eager to make their customers have a positive experience. Friends of Bob live music co-op is a not-for-profit volunteer-run group that organizes concerts in Lafayette. Duncan Hall is one of our main venues--people love its charm and ambiance. We really appreciate it.

Duncan Hall is the most beautiful and suprisingly historic building in Lafayette. There's this great picture of when JFK was here, in Lafayette, at Duncan Hall! My brother had his wedding and wedding reception in the beautiful ballroom. The caterer had an enormous kitchen to set up in and our grandparents had cozy tea rooms to relax in. I plan to get married there next summer when they will have outdoor weddings available. Immediately after the wedding we'll go inside for the reception and if it rains, just have it all inside. This place is amazing, I've lived in Lafayette my entire life and had never been here, it's a treat.
