The Rusk County Sheriff's Department offers a range of law enforcement and criminal investigation services. It provides a variety of search, rescue and record processing services. The department also offers dispatch, correction and assistance services to the residents of Rusk County, Wis. In addition, it maintains jail, learning and learning management systems. The department operates a drug unit that works with the Ladysmith Police Department and the Barron-Rusk Drug Enforcement Unit to investigate illegal drug activities. It manages a staff of more than 25 dispatchers, investigators, victim service specialists and support personnel. The Rusk County Sheriff's Department is located in Ladysmith, Wis.
