Took my child into the Tumwater Jack & Jill's , I felt the salon was a bit plain, chairs seemed warn out and dirty. Stylist doing the haircut was not very friendly and dressed a bit inappropriately for doing children's hair, in a very short skirt! Other stylist was very friendly and offered toys and candy. Haircut was ok. Overall experience was ok may or may not be back.

I have taken my three daughters to this salon several times and always had a good experience. I highly recommend them if you have a young one who will be in a wedding or any occasion where you want them to look good. Great styles, great prices.

Took my daughter in for her first haircut, and my other daughter in for 3rd. My oldest had very bad experiences with other salons, but was absolutely great at j&j's. The staff was so friendly, and the decor was amazing! they had treasures for the kids, cartoons on, chairs with cars and such on them, it was fantastic! they gave me a "first haircut card" for my youngest and it is so cute and thoughtful! i would ABSOLUTELY recommend it to anyone with children!! also, they are so amazingly patient, i don't know how they do it!

I took my daughter here for her first hair cut and had a wonderful experience. The gal who cut her hair was professional and very gentle with my daughter. We had forgot to bring our camera to capture the moment and was going to have to reschedule, but the stylist offered to let me use her camera and email me the pictures. She followed thru with her offer in such a speedy time frame that I was blown away. Overall we had such a great experience and it was worth every cent!

I loved the idea of a child's salon that had fun chairs and stuff to keep children occupied so their hair can be cut. My son found it fun, but the hair dressers were unfriendly and not warm to the children. It gave the impression that staff were still in beauty school & practicing on our children. Hair cut was not done well and was a bit pricey. I can't get over the staff... I expected a warm friendly environment and that is not what was given. I'm very disappointed. Such a great idea, especially for younger children.
