Founded in 1946, the LeRoy Haynes Center offers a range of foster care and educational therapeutic services. It specializes in the areas of administration and development, special education, counseling, behavior intervention and nursing care services. The center provides speech, language, occupational and social therapeutic services. It employs a work force of more than 200 professionals. The LeRoy Haynes Center offers residential programs that include individualized treatment, psychiatric and psychological assessment, substance abuse evaluation, social skills development, parent effectiveness training and medical care services. It works in relationship with various cardiologists, neurologists, dermatologists, podiatrists, orthopedists, dentists and orthodontists. The center also operates the Haynes Education Center, a nonpublic school which provides a curriculum that deals with learning disabilities and behavioral problems. It additionally offers online donation options. The LeRoy Haynes Center maintains a location in La Verne, Calif.
