Bishop Amat Memorial High School is a coeducational Catholic high school located in La Puente, Calif. The school excels in the areas of scholarships, athletics and service. The institution s curriculum provides various subjects, including religion, English, mathematics, foreign languages, science, physical education, computer science, fine arts and economics. The school has several clubs, such as barkada, bowling, cycling, drama, French, hockey, classic automobile, Latino active, and peace and justice. Its sports department provides various sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cross county, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. It is accredited with Western Catholic Education Association and Western Association of Schools and College. Bishop Amat Memorial High School is operated by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and staffed by Archdiocesan priests and religious communities of women. The school was founded in 1957.
