New owner is bad news. Rude Rude Rude. After questioning owner why a extra $2 charge on item I always get, he got mad and left table. Upon exiting the owner yelled to me to get out of his restaurant or he would call the police. Please La Porte join me in putting this guy out of business......!!!!!

If you grew up in the South and you loved Grandma's cooking, well this is it. The food is simply outstanding. The staff is very attentive and your fellow customers are just as friendly as can be. They have a great menue for youngsters and the young at heart seniors. I had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and cole slaw. Great meal at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. Gary / Houston
