William Buchner, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician providing primary care through Perlman Clinic, an independent practice with clinic offices throughout San Diego. He is a member of the UC San Diego Health Physician Network.{line break}UC San Diego Health Physician Network is an alliance of health care providers based in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial counties. Members of the network collaborate on developing shared systems, infrastructure and quality initiatives to provide high-value health care in the region.{line break}Dr. Buchner offers his patients a comprehensive approach to preventive care and managing chronic conditions including the use of vitamins and other supplements. His clinical interests include AIDS/HIV care, dermatology, bio-identical hormone therapies, and alternative medicine.{line break}He earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and completed his residency training at UC San Diego Medical Center.
