Lori A. Brown, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine doctor. She provides primary care for adults, including preventive care and diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.Dr. Brown is a fellow in the American College of Physicians, a distinction that recognizes her outstanding achievement in internal medicine. As a clinical professor of medicine, she is involved in training residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Her clinical expertise includes diabetes, gastrointestinal and cardiac disease, medical education, musculoskeletal disease, wellness and disease prevention and womens health. A good physician must combine empathy with good listening, communication skills and a commitment to lifelong learning."Dr. Brown completed her residency at Stanford University School of Medicine and her internship at UC San Diego School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree at Stanford University School of Medicine.
