General Info

Lauren Hermas, MPT, is a licensed physical therapist, board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist (OCS) and certified manual therapist (COMT). Ms. Hermas has extensive experience in orthopedics, utilizing evidence-based practices and manual therapy techniques. She works with patients who have a wide variety of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, and is particularly skilled in treating conditions of the neck and back, foot and ankle and temporomandibular joint dysfunction. Ms. Hermas has been practicing physical therapy at UC San Diego Health since 1998. She loves working with patients and helping them realize their physical and functional goals through rehabilitation. She obtained a masters degree in physical therapy from Mount Saint Marys College in Los Angeles and a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from California State University, Northridge. When not in the clinic, Ms. Hermas enjoys hiking, running, camping, rock climbing, home improvement projects and spending time with friends and with her son, Kai.
