Joe Ramsdell, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine doctor. He provides primary care for adults, including preventive care and diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases. As a professor of medicine, Dr. Ramsdell is involved in training medical students at UC San Diego School of Medicine.Dr. Ramsdell completed his residency and fellowship training at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine. He is board-certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease.The American Lung Association selected Dr. Ramsdell and the Airways Clinical Research Center at UC San Diego to participate in the American Lung Association-Airways Clinical Research Centers (ACRC) Network.
