Eduardo Grunvald, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine doctor. He provides primary care for adults, including preventive care and diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic diseases.Dr. Grunvald is integrally involved in managing patients going through surgical and non-surgical weight loss efforts. He is the internist for the UC San Diego Bariatric and Metabolic Institute and medical director for its weight management program. As a board-certified bariatrician, he works with all aspects of obesity and related problems.As a clinical professor of medicine, Dr. Grunvald is involved in training medical students, residents and fellows at UC San Diego School of Medicine.Dr. Grunvald completed his residency training at UC San Diego School of Medicine. He earned his medical degree at University of Washington School of Medicine.
