- Primary CareI am 60 yrs. old, and this physician is the most caring, confident, skilled, thorough, experienced, and competent I have ever known. He is an expert in his field. I went to Dr. Ali Bagheri with extreme pain and inability to function normally. I thought I had shoulder issues. I had been going to primary care and physical therapy for 3 months. Dr. Bagheri immediately and correctly diagnosed my issue as a problem in my cervical spine! I quickly got in for an MRI. Dr. Bagheri recommended surgery. Spinal surgery is a scary prospect. He was so caring and explained everything and answered all my questions. He encouraged me to bring in friends and family members, and he even worked with other doctors I was seeing to get my care accomplished. I had 3 spinal levels which needed repair, including a difficult level to access. My surgery was scheduled quickly at a great hospital, and was a complete success! First thing when I woke up, Dr. Bagheri was there. He told me all the levels in my spine were fixed. My recovery went much better than I expected. Today I am 4 months post surgery and I am pain free in my neck and shoulders! I had no idea how much pain I was experiencing before the surgery because I got used to it. I am so grateful to Dr. Ali Bagheri!

- OrthopedicsDr. Collins is an absolutely amazing doctor!! I fell while jumping over mud on a seven mile hike on a girl’s trip in Sedona, Arizona. I knew something was broken right away and couldn’t stand up. After crawling down the trail on my hands and knees in mud and flagging down an ATV to get down the mountain. I discovered at the ER that I had broken 3 bones in my ankle and had a trimalleolar fracture. By the time I got out of Arizona and got the approval to see Dr. Collins from my insurance I was quite traumatized and scared from the pain and the shock of what happened. I am quite an active person and was also worried about whether or not my ankle would ever work again. From the first appointment with Dr. Collins I knew I was in great hands. He was warm, personable, caring, kind, funny, knowledgeable and thorough. He explained my injury in great detail and explained that I needed surgery. He described everything that he would be doing during the surgery and about the recovery process. He was able to get me in for emergency surgery two days after I saw him. He helped keep me calm before surgery and was there when I woke up. He was with me every step of the way. After surgery Dr. Collins was great in helping me manage the pain and get me going on the road to recovery. He is quite progressive in his treatments, which is really awesome. He works with you and pushes you to get moving to the best of your ability. I think part of that comes from being an athlete himself. He always answered all of my question, went over x-rays, and genuinely cared about how I was doing and recovering. I also did my physical therapy with Girard Orthopedics. Dr. Collins and Mary (my physical therapist) worked as a team to help me recover and gain my range of movement. They were a great team and I knew that Dr. Collins was just next door if I ever needed anything or there was a concern. He and Mary were able to get me walking again with tennis shows in 9 weeks! Dr. Collins was always on time, always had a smile on his face, and has a great rapport with his patients. I never felt rushed meeting with him. He always listened to what you have to say or if anything is bothering you. He genuinely cares about his patients and is very kind and compassionate. He is an amazing surgeon who works with you and helps you progress to the best of your ability to get healing. He just is an amazing human! I am forever grateful to Dr. Collins and his team for fixing my three bones and getting me walking again!!! Dr. Collins is simply on of the best!

- Hip ReplacementApproximately three years ago I noticed serious stiffness and lack of mobility in my left hip when working out, almost immediately unrelenting severe pain in this area set in. I had been a patient of Dr. Kimball for minor knee issues in the past, but brought my hip issues to the forefront. Dr. Kimball diagnosis was immediate, and accurate. My left hip required a hip replacement. The decision was not a question, I was having to use a can to walk, which negatively impacted my lumbar spine and I was totally overwhelmed by pain. The subsequent operation was unbelievably effective. I was walking and doing stairs (under Dr. Kimball’s guidance and the assistance of the physical therapist), the afternoon of the surgery. Absolutely no complications ensued, today I am pain free, working out including walking on a treadmill daily, but my story does not end here. About six months ago, my right hip completely failed, it seemed the pain and site complications were far worse than my left hip. Without a moment is hesitation I went to see Dr. Kimball. The right hip was replaced with the same results, walking the day of the operation, no complications, only missed one week of work. As I sit and pen this ‘Testimonial’ I can say I have honestly forgotten about the hip pain and have to remind myself I had both my hips replaced.
- Knee ReplacementOn 2017 I went to see Dr. Kimball for an orthopedic consultation. I knew I needed surgery for my right knee and Dr. Kimball performed surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital. His care and knowledge and ability to perform such vital and precise procedures up to now amaze me. His professionalism and caring for each of his patients is great. In 2018 I went back to have my left knee replacement and Dr. Kimball took care of my knee for the second time. I can’t thank him enough for the gift he gave me to be able to walk normal and improve the quality of my life.
