General Info

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) in the US. I have a Masters degree in Clinical Counseling from Adams State University. My Bachelors degree is in Cultural Sustainability from Naropa University. I am currently enrolled in a PhD program in International Psychology, Trauma concentration. I have extensive training in a variety of techniques and modalities, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Animal-Assisted Therapy, and am certified in Trauma-Focused CBT. I am completing my requirements to be a Registered Play Therapist. I spent many years working at a local behavioral health agency, bringing therapy to students and providing consultations and training to teachers and staff in all of Conejos County schools, from preschool through high-school, as well as seeing adults and families in the office. I recently decided that I wanted to start a private practice, so that I could better provide high-quality care to my clients. I specialize in working with children and adolescents, but I am also work with adults.
