I have been several times for lunch and dinner. The food is excellent and presented with flair. My compliments to the chef! The wait staff is getting better.

LISTEN ALL, I GO TO SEALAND FOR LUNCH & DINNER 3 OR 4 TIMES WEEKLY. I HAVE DRINKS AT THE BAR AND ITS THE VERY BEST, BEST OF THE BEST, BESTIES IN THE WORLD... I'VE NOT HAD A BAD VISIT AS OF YET. THE FOOD IS JUST AMAZING, OMG TRY THE RIBEYE IF YOU'RE LIKE MOST AND CANT DECIDE. OWNERS NICK & NINA ARE THE MOST HELPFUL AND THANKFUL PEOPLE THAT I REALLY KNOW. THEY"VE PUT THEIR HEART & SOULS INTO THIS PLACE AND HAVE MADE IT WORK FOR US TO ENJOY. SO LETS ENJOY, RELAX AND BE THANKFUL FOR THEIR HARD WORK. ITS NOT A GOOD THING TO WRITE A REVIEW IF ITS NOT A TRUE STATEMENT AS ALOT OF THESE ARE. BECAUSE; RUMORS ARE CARRIED BY HATERS, SPREAD BY FOOLS &, ACCEPTED BY IDIOTS...................... Well me and my parents went to eat there because we heard they had Great food and service was excellent our waitress Emily was just a doll she made us feel right at home. The second time was the complete opposite our waitress was horrible we didn't even get all our food and she made us feel Like she was in a rush for us to get out because we heard her talking to other co workers that she couldn't wait for us to leave so she could go out with her boss to a bar!! What type of manager goes drinking with her co workers!! I won't be going back for a while!

A few of us came in today and it was my sisters birthday, we had a great waitress Emily but when we got our drinks they were HORRIBLE so we asked if the manager (Angie Urban) could make them again and she told the waitress to Fn make them herself that she didn't have time!!! They clearly werent busy at all!! The waitress was great food was great BUT we never got our drinks!! Needs new management for sure!!

Overall we had a very good experience at Sealand Seafood in LaGrange. The menu is impressive and they offer something for everyone. It was hard to choose what to eat. The resturant is very inviting. Nicely decorated. Brooke was our server and she was excellent. Our bar drinks did take about 20 min to arrive and that was annoying since the bar tender wasn't busy at all. Our food arrived very quickly and was excellent. We will be back.

Visisted Sealand for the first time on 10/17/11.The place is very inviting, clean & impressive. The menu is endless. Portions are very generous. As far as food goes, this place knows what it is doing. What we were not impressed with was our service & general attitude of our waitress. She treated us as more of a bother than anything. After she brought our drinks and took our order, we asked for several items, none which she seemed to be in an order to bring. She was much more worried about proping her self up at the bar. After waiting several minutes, we had to approach her to get what we needed. She acted like it was such a bother & the bar customer was much more important than us. Our food was brought to us by another young lady who was as sweet as could be. When our waitress returned, we asked to speak with a manager. That's when our server exclaimed she was the night manager & what could we be helped with. We were taken aback & expected better service coming from management.

Things seem to be improving at Sealand. But there is still something I just can't quite put my finger on. My husband and I visit at lunch quite a bit. The waitstaff seems to be more cheerful, more relaxed, and the overall mood in the resturant is good. Everyone seems to work as a team. Your food arrives fast and your drinks are never less than half full. Makes an hour lunch quite nice. Now, visiting on weekend nights are so much different. The whole feel inside the resturant seems to be chaos and stress. No one seems to work as a team. Waitstaff almost gets offended if you ask them for something and it's not their table. Some of the waitstaff is very hard to understand. Our last waitress had to be the laziest one ever. She never came back to the table. Someone else brought out our food. She never checked to make sure it was ok. She only arrived back to leave the check. Not good service at all. As always, the food was excellent and we enjoy doing lunch at Sealand but not quite dinner.

FIRE YOUR BARTENDER ALREADY. Word of advice, don't sit at the bar with Valerie. Her service is horrendous, will take forever and she will constantly complain. Her drinks aren't even that good. Sealand would be much better with someone else as bartender. FIRE YOUR CURRENT BARTENDER ALREADY.

The food is excellent, The help is excellent, our server was Katrina she was very good as were many of the other girls, each time they passed by they would ask how were doing and ask if we needed anything. The Owners wife was there and unfortunately we have nothing good to say about her, she is very rude to her employees!!! You could feel the tension in the place. Loved the girls, Loved the food, could not enjoy ourselves watching how she critized and constantly followed each of them around putting them down. We will not be back if she is there. Would love to see the place make i.t La Grange needs a great resturant.....She just needs to back off.

Highly recommend; Reasonable prices, great food, large portions and prompt, friendly service. A very pleasant dining experience for the entire family.
