Dr. Jawad Ali enjoys talking to patients and coming up with a customized treatment plan. He offers the latest techniques that minimize pain and hospital stay. He specializes in weight loss and anti-reflux surgery as well as hernia and gallbladder disease. After completing his General Surgery residency at the University of Texas at Austin, he did advanced training in minimally invasive techniques at the University of California - Davis then practiced at Kaiser Permanente before coming back to Austin. He enjoys running, spending time with friends, and wrangling an opinionated toddler with his wife.
