All in all it was my one and only experience with this company and it was a dreadful one. They lied and schemed and took everything that I owned. I was 18 years old then, I am 30 now and doing quite well. I have replaced all that was taken from me (except for those irreplaceable pictures of my mother). And to you, you mean old white haired man that took everything from me.....even though you hurt me severely taking things that were priceless and could never be replaced.....its okay.....I forgive you....I pray that God continues to bless and prosper you as he has done me. I also pray that you have it in your heart to never do something like that to any person ever again, and if you have, I pray that you have it in your heart to make it right. God blesses those that bless others. You will be more blessed in honoring God's word instead of just "doing business".

Oh yeah in the winter he would come in my apartment unannounced and try to tell me what to set my heat at since utilities were included in the rent. Insulted me and said "maybe if you kept some clothes on when you were sleeping you would not need to turn the heat up so high". I said "Im sorry I did not know I was supposed to sleep dressed as if I were going outside! Perhaps you could fix the windows so it did not feel like they were open!" Of course that never got fixed.

Ever have someone take everything they own from you? Well that is what Source One did to me. I was struggling and living on my own when I lost my job. I was trying to finish college and worked 2 jobs. I got a couple of weeks behind on $80 dollar a week rent and they served me with an eviction notice. I made arrangements with the landlord giving me a week to move my things, I came home one day and everything I owned was gone. When I called to find out where he took my stuff, he lied and had me running all over the city of Kokomo to find it. When I called the office back he refused to speak to me and then the secretary finally said "honey, Im just gonna let you know, between you and me he's not gonna tell you where your belongings are". I cried for days and was left with nothing. On top of that they tried to get me for things like cleaning and deposits. #1 the united way paid my deposit and #2 there was nothing to clean since he took everything I owned. They do not take care of their properties yet they won't let you do upgrades yourself even if you are paying for the upgrades. The would rather rent them out falling apart and full of cockroaches.. As far as a Lanlord goes they are ok and they do try to stay on top of things if you bring it to their attention but the fixes they use are always "bandaid" fixes.. But they are good about working with you on deposits and such which was a huge benefit for me.. that was actually the reason I moved into thier places in the first place..
