- Medical Weight LossMelissa has been with Women’s Care Group for almost 10 years in Feb 2018. Her special interests include adolescent gynecology, contraception and family planning, high-risk obstetrics, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), infertility, nutrition, obesity, and weight loss.
- Family PracticeKelly Alsup received both her Bachelor and Master degrees in nursing from East Tennessee State University and is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner. During her rotation in Women’s Health Kelly found her passion and entered into Women’s Health after graduation in 2006. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner Kelly worked in oncology as an RN for six years. Kelly is able to serve her patients with her education in family practice and her experience in women’s health. Kelly values the opportunity to care for women throughout all stages of their lives. Her professional interest are contraception and fertility, PCOS, obstetrics, adolescents gynecology, and menopause. As a mother of three boys she feels that she is able to connect with many of her patients. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health.

Some of her professional areas of interest include adolescent gynecology, long-acting reversible contraception, family planning, preventative care, health education and prenatal/postpartum care.

- ObstetricsDr. Morgan has been with Women’s Care Group for more than 22 years. He performs surgeries with the minimally invasive robotic da Vinci Surgical System. He has also seen how new technology has benefited the obstetrics side as well, improving the odds of finding high-risk babies and seeing ultrasounds change from looking “like snow on your TV” to crystal clear images.
- EndometriosisSpecific professional areas of interest include long-acting reversible contraception, abnormal pap smears and colposcopy, infertility, menopause and hormone replacement therapy, endometriosis, global health and prenatal care.
- Labor and DeliveryLisa received her B.S. degree in nursing from Tennessee Technological University and M.S. in Nursing from University of Tennessee with a concentration in women’s health. She started her career in Labor and Delivery and shortly after became a certified Registered Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

- General SurgeryDr. Julie Turner completed her undergraduate degree in chemistry at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She attended medical school and completed her residency in both obstetrics/gynecology and general surgery at the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University, Johnson City. She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Turner has served as both the Vice Chief and Chief of the Department of Ob/Gyn at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tennessee.
