My roommate recommended this place when I needed a new house key made and I'm really glad I took his recommendation. The locksmith was on his way out the door and took the time to come back in and make a copy for me. It took less than a minute and works perfectly. Customer service was great and I'm really happy with my experience. He was knowledgable and efficient. Don't waste your time anywhere else.

June 25,2014. Bought a car with only 1 key. I needed a spare so found out it was a chip type key needing programmed. This guy was very knowledgeable about all pertaining to this. He fixed us up and on our way and key works great and was cheaper than Walmart!! He was a guru about keys!! Very pleased. Will go back when needed. P Bailey

Outlet Key Shop demonstrated the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I had lost the ignition key to my vehicle while walking on a Greenway in Knoxville. I called to set up an appointment, and the appointment was set for the next day. Thirty minutes before the appointment, I received a phone call to confirm the location and time of my appointment. I pointed out that my car was not located at my house but was still parked at the Greenway. I was told I had to give an address or the appointment would be cancelled. I explained that I did not know the address of the park on the Greenway, but I would let the technician follow me to the location from my house (5 minutes away). This company cancelled the appointment and refused to work with me. At the end of the conversation - the man told me, "Find yourself another locksmith," and then hung up on me. I couldn't believe how juvenile and unprofessional these people were. Take the guy's advice - find another locksmith.

I called to have a key programmed for my Audi and the person whom picked up the phone was very rude. He talked to me like I was stupid so I will take my business somewhere else. This happened at 3:35 pm on October 9th, 2013.

After having patronized this business several times for various lock and key work, I have yet to have a bad experience. The staff is always very helpful, professional and courteous. On one occasion they were not able to duplicate a programmed key, but promptly referred me to someone who could. They have since obtained the equipment to make those keys as well, and will be making my next one.

i was stoked with the problem of having a broken key stuck in my ignition cylinder of my bike. with the problem existing on my motorcycle and not my car. I search for 4 days to find a locksmith or anyone who could help with my problem. No one wanted to deal with a lock on a motorcycle. and then I received info about outlet key shop on western avenue and everything including my day began going in a different direction. they broken key was removed from my cylinder as well as my cylinder cleaned due to i had taken some bad advise and used super glue on the end of my key to extract the broken piece. outlet key shop resolved all of my problems that were presented to them and had a very reasonable pricing for the work performed! I will gladly take any locksmith problem to outlet key shop and advise anyone with a key or lock problem to do the same. They did what no one else could do!
